Burkeys Crusader has spent the last six years on the Logging Camp Ranch in North Dakota in the ownership of Robert and Anne Hansen. Burkeys Crusader carries both the Bath Bros. and the Falcon Seaboard brands from past ownership. We were orginally drawn to Burkey's unique pedigree; there aren't many stallions out of a WYO Kid Curry mare and a Gooseberry son. We flew to North Dakota in February 2009 to look at Burkey and it didn't take us long to decide to buy him. The first thing we noticed about Burkey from a distance was that he was big without being too bulky. Burkey has big black feet, a wide chest, high withers and a nice straight head. He has benefitted from Robert and Anne's gentle handling and has a quiet and easy way about him. We are looking forward to preserving these unique Blue Valentine bloodlines in our program. We are anxious to see our first foals by him in 2010.
