We bought Chukkar Blue Bonnet from
the Merritt's at the Coming to the Source sale in 2003. As a three year old, she had 60 days of professional training with Dale Cossman at Sand Dunes Ranch. Dale was so impressed with how quickly
she learned, that after 30 rides he took her to a NFQHA show in Moses Lake, Washington. He entered her in the Western Trail class which put her up against horses of all ages. She was one
of only two horses that completed the whole course which included among other things, opening gates, roping a dummy, and dragging a log. She won a third and fourth place ribbon! We think
this is a testament to both Chukkar's quiet disposition and Dale's skill with young horses. See more pictures and pedigree below.
