We bought Hazel from Kathy Thornton, of Billings, Montana, who raises race bred quarter
horses with Jet Deck and Leo breeding. She has successfully crossed these mares on
foundation quarter horse stallions such as Leo Hancock Hayes. Hazel is both elegant and
smart. She is a solid blue roan with a black head and four black feet. Hazel had 60 days of
professional training with Dale Cossman in the fall of 2002. She was ridden steadily for
two years and developed into a nice saddle horse.
